Terms of Service

Last updated: August 17, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of xxcode (“we”, “us”), including our website, applications and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Service provider

The xxcode service (https://xxcode.app) is operated by Individual Entrepreneur BOZOROV SHOXZOD ODIL O'G'LI, registered in the Republic of Uzbekistan under registration No. 7685057 (dated April 16, 2026, issued by the Samarkand City State Services Center), located at 44/32 Beruniy St., Samarkand, Samarkand Region, Republic of Uzbekistan.

Contact: info@xxcode.app — or through the contact form. We reply by email.

1. What the Service provides

xxcode is a subscription service for healthcare professionals and researchers. It monitors published biomedical literature (primarily through the PubMed/NCBI interfaces), scores and filters publications against preferences you configure, and produces personalized digests: editorial summaries in text and, on eligible plans, audio narration of those summaries.

The Service is delivered entirely online. There is no physical product and nothing is shipped. Access is granted to your account immediately after a successful payment.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. The Service is intended for licensed clinicians, researchers and students in the health sciences. You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details, for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal; sharing credentials is not permitted.

We verify your email address with a one-time code before an account becomes usable. An account that is never verified may be removed.

3. Not medical advice

The Service is for education and information for qualified healthcare professionals and researchers. It is not medical advice, a medical device, a diagnostic tool, or a substitute for your own training, clinical judgment and direct evaluation of patients and sources.

You are solely responsible for all clinical decisions. Never rely on summaries, audio or other outputs as the sole basis for diagnosing, treating or managing any medical condition. Use of the Service does not create a physician–patient relationship between you and xxcode or its personnel.

4. AI-generated content and accuracy

The Service uses artificial intelligence and large language models to aggregate, summarize and present medical literature. AI outputs may be incomplete, biased, outdated or erroneous. They may omit nuance, misstate findings, or include content that appears plausible but is incorrect (“hallucinations”).

You assume all risks associated with reliance on AI-generated material. You must independently verify anything that could affect patient care — especially dosing, contraindications, trial outcomes and safety data — against the original publications.

5. Summaries only; no full-text articles

The Service provides summaries, digests, audio narration, curated metadata and links based on citations and indexing information. We do not reproduce, host or deliver the complete full text of copyrighted journal articles through the Service.

Where you require the authoritative manuscript, you must obtain it from the publisher, PubMed, PubMed Central, your institution, Open Access venues or other lawful channels you are entitled to use. These Terms grant you no license to third-party copyrighted works.

6. Subscriptions, prices and billing

Paid plans are recurring subscriptions. Current prices are shown on the Pricing page and are USD $9 per month or USD $90 per year. A free trial of 14 days may be offered to new subscribers.

  • Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until cancelled. A free trial converts to a paid monthly subscription when it ends unless cancelled first.
  • Cancellation. You may cancel at any time in your account settings or by email. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues to the end of the period already paid for.
  • Currency. Prices are quoted in USD. If your payment method settles in another currency, conversion is performed by the payment provider or your bank at their rate, and any conversion fee is theirs.
  • Price changes. We may change prices. Changes apply from the next billing period and we give at least 14 days' notice by email, so you can cancel first.
  • Taxes. Prices are stated exclusive of any taxes or duties applicable in your jurisdiction.

Payments are processed by an authorized payment service provider. We do not receive or store your full card number, expiry date or security code.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • resell, sublicense or redistribute digests, audio or other outputs as your own product;
  • use automated means to scrape, bulk-download or systematically extract content;
  • share your account or use one account for several people;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or the systems behind them;
  • use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or your professional obligations.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms. Where a suspension is our decision and you have not breached these Terms, we refund the unused part of your current period.

8. Intellectual property

The Service — its software, design, editorial method and the summaries it produces — is owned by or licensed to the service provider. Your subscription grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service and the digests you receive for your own professional and educational purposes. Citations, abstracts and bibliographic metadata remain the property of their rights holders.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, third-party outages (including the literature sources and AI providers the Service depends on) and events outside our control may interrupt it. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — including any alleged harm, adverse clinical outcome or professional liability claim.

Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

11. “As is”; warranties disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express, implied or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement — all disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure; that AI outputs will be accurate, complete or suitable for any purpose; or that errors will be corrected. Your use is at your sole risk.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter directly. Disputes that cannot be resolved this way are subject to the competent courts of the Republic of Uzbekistan, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights where you live.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms. Material changes are announced by email or in the Service before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If any provision is held invalid, the remainder stays in effect.
